Start with published national statistics to understand the scale of public-hospital care. These are CNY reference figures, not quotes for a procedure, an international department, or an individual patient.

National averages help compare the setting of care. For a usable treatment budget, obtain a hospital estimate based on the diagnosis, planned tests, admission assumption, medicines, devices, and payment route.
The first two figures describe all hospitals nationally. The next two come from a separate resident-medical-insurance series. They should be compared as context, not combined into one patient price list.
This NHSA series is useful for comparing institution levels, but it is not a tariff or an international-patient bill.
A treatment estimate can involve registration, consultation, tests, imaging, medicines, consumables, surgery or anesthesia, bed charges, and follow-up. International departments may also have a different service and payment arrangement.
Share a short diagnosis summary, relevant reports, the city and hospital type, the planned treatment, expected admission if known, and whether you will self-pay, use direct billing, or seek reimbursement.
Open the original publication to check the reporting population, definition, year and CNY value. China Care Atlas does not present a foreign-currency conversion as an official hospital price.
Compare the clinical scope first, then request a hospital estimate and choose the care setting.
